No prior experience necessary. Complimentary mats & yoga bricks provided if needed. The Depot also provides amenities including filtered water, restroom with emergency toiletries for your convenience, a coatroom, and of course, plenty of beautiful studio space heated to 72 degrees prior to class. New to Yoga?
We encourage first-timers to join us and learn new techniques for stress reduction and relaxation. The class structure will consist of learning a series of Hatha Yoga postures and movements. Each class will end with a deep relaxation. this combo helps to increase physical strength, energize the body, and calm the mind. Jan will guide you through postures which she will modify for you based on any pre-existing medical conditions or individual physical limitations. Wear loose clothing and come join us

The Depot is entering our 8th year with experienced instructor Jan Humbert. Jan is an experienced, certified Hatha Yoga teacher. She received her yoga teaching certifications from Sivananda, Kripalu, Omega, and Himalayan Institutes. She creatively combines asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathwork) in her classes which are designed for both beginner and experienced students with a specific theme each week.
Jan has regularly taught at Blue Hill Mind and Body, the Howland Center, Beekman Library, YWCA, and also continuing education courses in Wappingers Central School District. She is also a Columbia University certified Health Coach.
